Quarter Inch:  Faerie Hill Lane

Kit #3430
Namfoodle's Gnome Home    $34.95

We presented this project as a workshop at the Good Sam show in San Jose in October '03, and decided to improve it a bit and add it to the line.  It is the first in a series of fairy tale cottages.

Every thing you need to build this little cottage is included in the kit...from the rocks, flowers and grass all the way to the shingles and smokestack.  We supply the mounded ground, as well.   You will create the walls from pre-formed styrene pieces--our instructions will lead you through the assembly process.   There are plenty of fun details...even some tiny flower pots on the door-step and mail in the mail box.  Keep in mind that gnomes are little people, so the house reflects their size.  Make sure that you build the house before buying furniture, so that the  Namfoodle gnomes won't have over-sized couches.

The project base is designed to fit flat into a 5" x 7" picture frame.  The house is 3" tall.  This is not a beginner kit, but an intermediate level builder can handle it easily.

Kit #3431
Oliver Ollywock's Place   $34.95

Ollie's Place is #2 in our series and looks great as a companion piece to Namfoodle's.

The cottage walls are made from a plastic cup (included in our kit), which makes it simple to create.  We've added loads of details, including our own windows and doors.  There is  plenty of landscaping material to plant in the pre-formed foam "ground" which is supplied.  Just for fun, we've added a tiny birdhouse that mimics the cottage and a little sign to place out front.  We've set the roof a bit off center to give this cottage a whimsical feel.  Keep in mind that gnomes are little people, so the house reflects their size.

Again, the project base is designed to fit flat into a 5" x 7" picture frame.  The house is 6-1/2" tall  (that's including the cool roof).  This is  an intermediate level kit.

Kit #3432
Mrs. Polliwaddle's Gnome Home   $34.95

Mrs. Polliwaddle's is #3, and with pre-made walls and its cute gingerbread trim, this is a "must-have"  if you want to establish the whole village!

The walls are pre-formed for this great little house.  You have the option of building it with the rear wall or without.  As always, we give you lots of details--even flower pots and a little doormat for the front porch and letters for the mailbox!  There is  plenty of landscaping material to plant in the pre-formed foam "mound of ground" which is supplied.  To add a bit of whimsy, we also add a little sign to place out in front, declaring to passersby that this is Mrs. Polliwaddle's home.  Keep in mind that gnomes are little people, so the house reflects their size.  If you are doing deco inside the house, buy your furniture after you have set the house together, so you can make sure everything suits Mrs. P.

Again, the project base is designed to fit flat into a 5" x 7" picture frame.  The house is 3-1/2" tall.  This is  an intermediate level kit.

Kit #3433
Willie Winkelberry's
   $34.95

Willie's is #4, and continues with the happy theme of the village!

Willie is a frugal little gnome....his house is constructed from a recycled water bottle (included) and he has a thatched roof.  There are polka dot awnings over the windows, an entry door with a curved top,  a mailbox for Willie's fan mail and lots of colorful  landscaping stuff.  If you wish, the back can be cut open to allow for interior decor (you're on your own for this).  As usual, we supply all the materials  you need  to make the scene as shown, including thorough instructions, templates and a photo.  Finished size of the house is 3" x 6", finished size of the project is 6" x 8"...made to display in a standard 5" x 7" picture frame.
